Ok, that sounds a bit like the title of a Penny Arcade cartoon...

One of those days where the metric of tracking word count, which I'm using because this way I don't have to code my own tracker, doesn't really work. In actual fact, we shot a full minute of footage today, one of our more productive days, but it was mostly walking and non-verbal stuff that doesn't show up in the script.

Release date: give us another few days. It turns out part of our sound design is trickier than expected.

    We have a storyboard. Actually, we have a full animatic, and we spent over a year just contructing it. The reason that multiple character shots are so tricky is that there's three people (two on a bad day) trying to control anything up to thirty individual characters, all of whom are autonomous enough to be annoying, but not enough to do what they're told without a lot of virtual hand-holding.

    For me, though, the hardest part of any day at BloodSpell Towers is avoiding being the one who has to make the tea. It's an art, and involves looking very busy and important whilst being neither.
